3rd Birthaday Celebration

Recently too lazy to blog although i have so many things to share here...hihi..:)
Actually this is backdated post..but what to do cz lately mummy too lazy..maybe because of day to day mummy belly become bigger n bigger so easily to make me no mood n easily to become tired...somemore need to entertain notti Lil Ryan...haha (juz an excuses..but reality is mummy super duper malas...)

For this year we had celebrated Ryan's Birthday on 10 January 2010 at my PIL's house at Malacca. We had a simple cake cutting session at home and had our buffet lunch at Avillion Legacy Hotel, Malacca.

This year was my first year as a full time mom so spent much longer time with him. It was a year that made me realize how hard it is to raise a child and to be a somebody's mother. There are so many things I've learned which I was not able to experience if I was working.

In many occasions I just wanted to go "Aghhhhhhhhh!!!" and disappear somewhere but it all worth it at the end. He has grown so much and it is just so precious to see those changes right by his side.

Cameron Highlands Trip (1-2 Jan 2010)

While we were at kelantan, back at my hometown for the holiday, we decided to make a short trip to Cameron Highland. It's kind a family outing as my brother and family and my mom followed. Kind a last minute decision..hehehe.
We took Gua Musang-Simpang Pulai highway. Traffic was smooth and the all hilly view along the way is nice and the air is cooling and refreshing. It took us 5 hours to reach CH and reached there at 10.30am.
Our first stop was the few stall along the way. Apa lagi we all 'wash our eyes' hehehe and bought as usual strawberry (not sweet....), honey and some fruits...My nieces and nephew take turn taking care of Ryan....at least we got the chance to do some shopping...
Next was the Boh Tea Farm on top on the mountain. The road goin up was so narrow and winding...luckily my husband drove hehehe....if me sure turn back and go back. Once up there, we need to park our cars at the designated car park and me with my big tummy have to take a short walk up the hilly road....
After lunch and everybody is tired, we checked in to our apartment. Parkland Apartment. The place is clean and comfortable with 3 room wt attached bathroom and kitchen.
At night, we didn't walk much as it was raining. We went to the nearby pasar malam.

Last weekend when we were at Malacca, we brought Ryan for his usual hair cut. Now we are not worried that he will scream or cry like a monster because he understands after i had explained to him why he need to cut his hair. Now he is happy & looking forward for his hair cut because after that the salon owner will give him some sweets or chocolate to comfort him.

Conversation between me & Ryan :

Ryan: because im big boy already

Ryan : Dont want...
Me : Mummy ask aunty to cut your hair botak k...?

Today i went for my antenaal check up again....everything ok....except my baby's position....hu hu....my gynea said now my baby in a breech position....but according to her....baby might turn her position again....hope so miracle will happen then my baby's head will turn down...then i will have chance to go for normal deliver...Pls...God....

Hi...all...still remember me?...ha ha

I've been lazy lately for updating my blog...(almost 1 mnth plus....)maybe bcz of my pregnancy, tired & mostly my time occupied wth my little hero...hi hi & macam-macam...excuses...(101 excuses.....)

Actually for this pregnany my BP always low...easily to get tired,no appetite to eat(till nw me only gained 2 kg...hu hu...)

Luckily..at least gain 2 kg..if not sure next check up my gynea will make noise again..I noticed for this pregnancy is totally different wth my 1st pregnancy...maybe i carry a baby girl kua....(ha ha pls pray 4 me...)

Genting Highland 14-16 October 2009

Last week we went to Genting again. Ryan very happy & keep saying..mummy i want to sit "Eye on Malaysia" (he call Ferris Wheel is Eye on Malaysia) because we brought him ride an Eye of Malaysia before at Malacaa. On the 1st day we just walked around because by the time we reached, it is already 4.30pm. 2nd day (15/10)we bought an indoor theme park ticket (unlimited ride from 9am -12 mid nite), for adult is RM26, Ryan height already 90cm so his fare is RM24. It is really worth because we can spend the whole day there (if we just purchase per ride ticket is RM8 per person for 1 game, damn expensive). So on the 2nd day after took our breakfast,we started our ride as early as 9am. Ryan very happy n enjoyed all the games. For me (as pregnant lady..hi hi) i like Monorail & Venice Gondola so much so i can sit there n relaks (malas to walk n stand). The most i dont like is Carousel (the horses ride) cz keep turning & turning till me also feel dizzy. So for the horse ride i just let my hubby & Ryan enjoyed it..hi hi.
Now life really different, every trip to Genting just think about Ryan...if last time mummy & daddy just rileks at hotel or else can try our luck at Casino..but since Ryan tagging along every trip to Genting, mummy & daddy need to forget at all about Casino..hu hu...

MetroJaya Fest - Mid Valley

Last weekend went to Metro Jaya Fest at Mid Valley. The offer is up to 70%, so i cannot tahan myself to grab few Ryan's stuff. The Poney T-shirt really worth to buy because after 70% discount the price only RM15.90 each. The Poney jeans RM26.70,socks is RM6.95 then the puzzle is RM10.

Johor Trip (backdated Post)

During Raya Holiday last month my mum came to KL with my niece and we went to my brother's house at JB. We left KL early on Saturday morning (4.30am)and by 8am we reached my brother's house at Taman Perling. The traffic was smooth.
Among the few places that we went to was The Zon and Danga Bay. My brother wanted to take us to the famous beef noodle in JB but unfortunately the shop was closed on that day.So we had to settled for steamboat at night.
On the last day we went to Kota Tinggi Waterfall for picnic..wow..this is Ryan 1st ever visit to a waterfall..he was very excited & happily playing water with my niece & nephew. But he could only enjoyed it for awhile as it was starting to rain.

Cruise Tasik Putrajaya

During our visit to MATTA Fair last month, Cruise Tasik Putrajaya has a booth where they offered promotion (50% discount for the ticket). The actual price is RM30 (with Mycard) but during promotion we only need to pay RM15 per-person and Ryan is FOC.We took the cruise with my mother and niece, when they came to KL during the Raya holidays. Since it's a puasa month (2 days before Raya), there is no much crowd, i only bout think 10 passengers in the cruise.
The cruise is basically makes a tour around the man-made Putrajaya lake with a guide introducing us all the buildings and landmarks that we could see along the ride. The ride took us around 45 minutes and Ryan enjoyed it very much.

The boat is fully air-conditioned then come with 76 seats.

As the boat cruises past the many astonishing landmarks, so we can hop over to the decks and enjoy a fantastic feel from the rushing breeze.

We went to the Giant again last night to re-stock our rice since Giant offering a great deal for "Taj Mahal Herba Ponni Rice". Normal price is RM35+++ but during offer we can get at RM33.99. The offer is very great because it comes wth a free 1 kg pack that will cost RM7++. Actually TESCO also having a similar offer RM33.80 but no free pack of 1 kg rice ( that's why we grab it at GIANT).*Seem this 2 hypermarket wanna compete each other by offering their best price for the goods...so the most "untung" is us as a consumer because we hv more choice then got right to choose the BEST for our family..hi hi...the most important is we can save our $$$ by comparing the price*.

Actually this is our family favorite rice because :
1. Its low carbohydrate content is suitable for those who want to control sugar intake then also good for those wanna DIET, especially daddy...mummy cannot DIET now..hi hi..
2. High in calcium to helps better growth of the bones and teeth for growing children. Besides it is easily digested.
3. Last longer (get stule slower compared to other rice) after being cooked. It is also stays soft when cooled.
4. Make my family's life become more healthier by consuming a healthy rice.

Whenever im busy cooking inside the kitchen, Ryan will play by himself at living room. Normally i will on Barney show for him...but few times will take a peek into him just wanna check what he is doing.
Sometimes if he bad mood he will take his small chair to the kitchen & will "kacau" me.

Sitiawan Trip

Last sunday we went to Sitiawan again because visited my hubby's uncle. Actually this is our 2nd trip there (last trip is last May after our Pangkor trip). For this trip my PIL also joined together because my FIL wanna go n visit his brother. We leave house at 10.30am then reached Sitiawan at 1.30pm. We had our lunch at Ah Pek Lee Kou Hock Restaurant at Kg Cina before headed to hubby's uncle house.

MATTA Fair & wearing mask

We brought Ryan to MATTA fair last saturday. Actually this is 4rd time we brought him to this travel fair. After paying the entrance ticket, the cashier gave us some bag, travel pamphlet & face mask. I let Ryan to wear a mask...ha ha his face look so cute..at first he reluctant to wear (actually b4 this i let him wear but just can last for 5 minutes) then he will take out & said "mummy i dont want to wear...so hot.."...hi hi...but last saturday not bad at least can last for 1 hour. The mask quite big for him..so cover 1/2 of his face. For this time we just went to Domestic Hall because wanna look for a great bargain for domestic holiday. Daddy said this year no oversea trip because H1N1 then mummy also pregnant..somemore last year already went twice for oversea trip (Melbourne & Bali)

French Fries & Tomato Sauce

Actually this is Ryan all the time favorite. Every time we had our meal at fast food restaurant, of course will order fries for him. But we not always bring him to fast food restaurant because thats not good for small kid like him. So far we just let him eat fries but never let him try the soft drink..whenever he ask for it i will said to him "lak lak (hot)"..actually this boy very easy to trick..just say "lak lak" then he ok..(bad mummy..hi hi)

Everytime we passed by the cinema or else if he saw it at newspaper advertisment, Ryan very excited then always said "mummy i want to watch UP. But im still not dare to bring him to the cinema cz this boy actually very scared of loud sound system..( i'm sure if bring him to cinema sure he will cry & and ask to go back..so what a waste).The solution is we bought him "UP" DVD..he so happy...so since then everyday he wanna watch it...he will said "mummy...house can fly like aeroplane.."(so for temporarily he forget about Barney...hi hi...)

At the same time he also a BEN10 fan...recently daddy just bought him a BEN10 watch & pencil box. Then 1 pair of BEN10 shirt is a present from mummy's cousin during their visit to KL last month.

Last weekend (27/8/09 -1/9/09) we went back to mummy hometown again....then the most excited is little Ryan cz he can see his ama + akong. For flight only took 1 hour to reach KB but if we drive will take 8 hours...so daddy said for this trip better we take flight because last month we already drove back to KB. We also went to visit Peggy and her little newborn baby boy Bill Chiam (but mummy too busy chatting with Peggy till forget to snap the photo...hi hi hi..)

Today officially i'm being a SAHM (stay at home mum), the tittle that i have looked forward for quite sometimes..Finally today all my wish was b granted....
Most of my colleagues get shocked when they know bout this...so lots of question they had asked me....."You not regret meh???"...."ai yoo you still young", "You got problem at your workplace???"..n bla bla....till my mouth tired wanna answer all their questions....ha ha ..dont bother lah...as long as im HAPPY wth my decision.
Yup..im really HAPPY now...cz the most important is i wanna spend the fullest time with my little Ryan (cz fr baby till he 20 months old he was look after by my MIL at Malacca, only once a week i can see him). So i don't want this same thing happen to my 2nd baby so i will look after my 1st & 2nd baby by myself...*wish me Good Luck*...

We went to Jusco 1-U last saturday, as usual once we at Baby's Department, Ryan automatically wanna go to the Toys Department. Once at toys department he very excited run there n here & also touch there n here...(hi hi bad mummy + daddy because every time just let him 'wash his eyes' there because we don't want too pampered him although he got ask us to buy him some toys from there). Normally we just explained to him.."Ryan must behave + kuai-kuai onli mummy + daddy buy Ryan toy...ok? then he will nod his head...hi hi..."Good boy"..seem my boy such a big boy + well behave now..can understand what we try to explain to him,..if last time mummy + daddy always need to *slap forehead* then need to avoid toys department because he will show his tantrum + crying very loud if we ask him to leave.
The most he likes at Jusco is at soft toys department because there got his favorite Big Barney to hug...wah the price is RM100+++...leh quite expensive.(mummy need to think twice if wanna buy some toys that cost RM100+++)..if the price RM50+++ maybe mummy might consider to buy it...(hi hi stingy mummy..not stingy but must use the $$$ wisely). Some more Ryan is the type cannot stick to 1 toy..once he get bore he will dump it anywhere...so what a waste...

Beginning of this month we went back Malacca then my youngest BIL treat us makan at 1 of the Chinese Restaurant at Lorong Kubu (because of his birthday). Little Ryan enjoyed his food so much...but poor mummy!!! cz tat time still hv "bad night sickness" (nausea) so totally no appetite to eat. I think that night Ryan eat more than me...hu hu

actually fish curry is my all the time favourite...but that night i didnt eat at all cz the smell from thick curry really "beh tahan"...hu hu that nite i just ate plain rice + veggies nia...hu hu

I am 10 weeks Pregnant

Yes...now i am 10 weeks pregnant then my EDD is 12 February 2010... 2 days before Chinese New year..thats mean i cannot enjoy all CNY delicious foods + cookies...*hu hu*...Last time when i carry Ryan, my EDD is 21 Jan 2007 but Ryan very excited wanna come out so i delivered him on 8 Jan 2007 (13 days earlier..) Hope so for 2nd baby i will deliver early so i can go back my hometown early for confinement.....For 2nd baby i don't have much problem ( the symptom exactly same like i carry Ryan last time) except for 6 weeks onwards i have no appetite to eat then also i have night sickness..that's mean right after 6 pm my body automatically turn to be very tired + nausea then i need to lie down + rest...luckily so far no vomiting at all...* thanks god*..Once i turn to 10 weeks my appetite seem like back to normal then my night sickness also already reduce.

Makan Using chopstick

Lately i noticed Ryan like to explore lots of new things....then he also behaved like big boy...everything he want to be independent. Last week as usual, weekend we will "makan" dinner outside then this little boy wanna try himself to use chopsticks. Really funny cz he try to "cucuk" the chopstick into mee suah...haha at least still manage to do it then still manage to finish 1 bowl of mee suah soup by using chopstick + also by the help of small spoon...haha...check it out the video...

I miss my boy so much. Today is 1st day in KL without Ryan....last weekend we went back my husband's hometown. Since my in law is coming to KL this wednesday, so hubby n me decided to leave my boy in Malacca(my in law also miss him so much cz they look after Ryan since baby... hehehe). Now we are so lonely at home...house feels so quiet without him. Looking at his bed and Barney cds/toys make us miss him so much...Last nite we spoke with him over the phone, he's so happy playing with his amah and akong, and while me without realizing shed a few tears.

Today i am on MC cz down with flu and fever (or is it bcos i miss him so much hehehe...)Good thing he's not here or else i am afraid might spread to my boy..

Can't wait to see him back this wednesday...Ryan...Mummy + Daddy miss you so much:)

Since i enrolled Ryan to Nursery, he can sing few nursery songs (but of course for song he will sing half way, after that will modified his own lyric...he he ), can recited A-Z then also can count from 1-20 in English & 1-10 in BM, later thought wanna teach him how to count in mandarin.

I do let Ryan sleep at his own bed when he 20 months old. By that time i brought him back KL to stay with me then at first me had no idea where to let him sleep. Few of my friends suggested i just put single mattress then let him sleep on the floor. At last my hubby suggested why not we just let him sleep on single bed since he already big boy.Some more easier for me to reach him in case he call me middle of the nite (lazy mummy....he he), before this every time he come to KL i will share my bed with him then hubby need to sacrifice & sleep on single mattress on the floor...he he pity hubby :)

I put 1 big pillow (blue colour) at his feet just in-case to protect him from fall to the floor..he he..but so far ok although his sleeping pattern will turn 360

Yesterday once i reached home then opened my door grill, suddenly i heard Ryan voice from inside "yeah...mummy come back"..then he help me to open the main door( now he tall enough to open the door). Once see his face he very excited then hand over 1 small parcel for me, then said "mummy for you"..."mummy faster open"..he very excited and also kepo want to help me unwrapped the parcel. Actually this is a gift from mummy Suhar. Thats a toy car. Its very cute then Ryan like it very much. Thank you so much unty Suhar....hug & kisses from Ryan....muackssss...muacks...!!!

Ryan is a Barney's fan because since he 3 months old i exposed him with Barney's CD. That why i think he love Barney so much. The most he like is I LOVE YOU song then every day he try to sing this song....ha ha so Cute..He only able to sing :

Besides that he also like to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star + Ba Ba Black Sheep...hahha but the funniest one is he sing half way then forget the lyric so he had created his own lyric....

Everytime if i want to sing together with him, he will said "mummy stop"...ha ha because he dont like me to disturb him....

Eye On Malaysia-Malacca

Ryan very keen to sit on Eye on Malaysia (the tallest portable observation wheel in South-East Asia). Every time we passed by there he keep saying "Eye on Malaysia" & very excited. Last weekend after breakfast i told him later we goin to sit "Eye on Malaysia", he so happy & quickly finished up his meal.

We reached there around 10.30am...still early & not much crowd. We proceed to the ticket counter. The guard told us if we are Malaysian, we need to show our MyCard then entittle for 50% discount. So the fee only RM10 per-person (without my card is RM20) then Ryan is FOC.

During our trip to Mcaa last weekend, we went to Muara Sungai Duyong for Ikan Bakar in conjuction wth my BIL's birthday (he belanja us makan that nite..kam sia kam sia...)

Once reached there, we must start of picking out whats kinds of seafoods that we want to eat.The ordering process is very simple (must go early to avoid long Q), that nite we reached there around 8.30pm so need to Q up quite long , pity my MIL cz she need to Q up there wth my FIL...hu hu hu...

After you had select the types of seafood and cooking method (you do so by choosing from a signboat on the wall), the waiters will weigh the selected seafood in front of you and confirm the order & pricing on the spot.

The speciality here is the Nasi Lemak (beside that we also can request plain rice).My little boy can eat till 1 & 1/2 packets of plain nasi lemak ...ha ha quite a big eater. Then i think for adult can easily consume 3-4 packest or more. Me too that nite had 3 packets...ha ha ha * Forget about DIET*....

That nite we ordered Plain Ikan Siakap Bakar, Garlic Prawn, Lala Chilies Padi, Fried Crispy Sotong + Muar Otak-Otak. The sauce there very nice ( i think mixture with black sauce + chilies padi, onions + garlic + lime juices)
*actually 2 more dishes didnt come, Kerang bakar + Veggies so we just canceled that order when paying the bill*

As usual weekend will dine outside cz im lazy type to cook for dinner. Dunno what & where to eat so my hubby suggested we try Nyonya's food at Mum's Place Restaurant. Located in Damansara Perdana, Mum’s Place is a quaint restaurant that specialises in a variety of Nyonya, Portuguese and Malay dishes.

Mum's Place's concept is dining and shopping at the same time. Aside from serving the foods, they do sell some paintings, lamps, and high end tradition hand crafted furnitures.

Nowadays Ryan loves to play water very much. He always ask me + hubby to bring him for swimming. Last time he was very scared of water but recently only he love to play water. Damai Laut Resort - Pangkor

I think May is holiday month for Ryan............beginning of this month we went back to my hometown then 1 week later we went to Pangkor Island for my company family's day. Ryan very happy keep telling his teacher that he went to Pangkor, sit boat. We went there for 3D2N (8-10 May). We stayed at Swiss Garden Resort Hotel.

Last 3 week i went back to my hometown (without hubby along cz hubby need to attend some courses at Langkawi).........Tats mean my journey only wth my little prince......Luckily i managed to handle him then Ryan also such a good boy......sit at his seat quietly then when stewardess announced ask to wear seat belt he give me such a good cooperation.......Phew!!! (because if inside the car always need to force him wear seat belt.....ha ha ha........) then he very excited keep saying "aeroplane"...."aeroplane"....Ryan...mummy proud of you......muacks!!!

Satay Celup - Malacca

Actually tis is my favourite food..same goes to my boy cz he enjoying eating fishball there.........There are number of satay celup shops in Malacca but we prefer to go to Ban Lee Xiang Restaurant. It is situated towards the end of Ong Kim Wee road. There are 2 shops under the same management team, but with 2 different style. One is self service while the other one is not self service.

What is Satay Celup?????? Actually Satay Celup is a dish uniquely available only to Malaccan and well favored by the Malaccans. Satay Celup is similar to Lok lok & Steamboat. Instead of boiling pot of soup,satay celup is cook by dipping or dunking sticks of raw foods into boiling pot of aromatically rich & spicy peanut sauce.........yummy........yummy........

How time flies,my baby Ryan become big boy now.He had showed sign that he want to be an independent boy. Everything he want to do by himself.Example if "makan" time, he can sit there quietly n finished up his meal without fuss. Surprising he can minimise the food from spill all over the plate..hahahha...if i want to feed him, he will push away my hand said "Mummy...i dont want"...hahha Good boy..mummy luv u so much...mucks:)

Bali Trip (Backdated Post)

We went to Bali for 4D3N trip. We had stayed at Harris Tuban Hotel. Actually we just planned our own trip, we just booked hotel + airfare, reached there we hired a taxi to bring us round Bali Island. The trip quite enjoyable but a bit tiring wth little rascal around.

Emergency Leave

This morning i decided to take emergency leave coz wanna let Ryan hv a good rest at home since his body still weak coz just recover fr fever...glad to said his appetite still the same then he still active as usual...but he still having minor cough..so plan to bring him to see doctor once my hubby come back from work today (cz we just gv him spare medicine tat we always keep inside the fridge)
Today he very good boy..really behave then i took this opportunity to prepare for lunch. I just on Astro channel 611 then let him watch cartoon...he very concentrate on tat cartoon so in my mind just want to cook the simple lunch b4 this boy come n kacau me.So today i just cook fried bihun + sambal ikan bilis (of course sambal is for me + hubby) cz today my hubby come back for lunch. Me also had boiled barley water for Ryan to make his body cool. After everything had been prepared i feed him fried bihun then he managed to sapu the whole plate of bihun...Good Boy!!

Fever attack me again!!!

This morning around 10.30am, i received a call fr Ryan's teacher said he has a slight fever...but his appetite still ok then stay active as usual.I ask the teacher to gv him fever medicine (cz at his Nursery they already prepared all sort of medicines).After put down the phone, im very worried then i rang my hubby ask whether today he can fetch Ryan early fr school (if not i plan to take 1/2 day leave today). Then my hubby said he will try to arrange it. Then just nw i called the teacher again (around 1pm) then she said now Ryan is sleeping then his fever already subsided. I feel relief after heard about that, btw my hubby just sms said just now he went to fetch RYan but tis boy still sleeping so he already asked the teacher to call him once RYan awake...Thanks god...if not im no heart to work today......
